1. How was your brand born? Tell us about your background and how you started your work.
The starting idea was Francesco, my son. When he infected us with his enthusiasm, it was a question of finding a name for the initiative: and this is where my wife, Gloria, came into play. For some years we had taken root in a place in the south-west of Sardinia, where we took a stazzo facing the sea and immersed in the wildest nature. A true paradise and source of inspiration. With some self-irony Gloria began to refer to the place using the English translation of her name: Capo Pecora - Cape Sheep. The name seemed fitting both because it evoked evasion and freedom, and because it also fully represented us in the taste for self-irony and never taking ourselves too seriously. Once the name was found, everything else followed, thanks to the initiative especially of Francesco who traveled around Italy in search of suppliers that best reflect our idea of the product.
2. Three adjectives to define your Brand.
Original, elegant, absolutely uncommon
3. Which is your creation to which you are particularly attached or which represents you the most?
All the drawings tell something about me: if I have to choose one, I opt for the one I made for our first creation: for what it meant and how excited we were when it came to life.
4. How do you imagine your work / brand in 5 years?
I imagine many garments, not just swimwear, not just clothing. I would like to be able to dictate our idea of style, unmistakable (as in fashion Missoni has been and continues to be; as in ceramics the creations of our family factory have been). I would like to dedicate this second part of my life to cultivate creativity to leave a mark, a memory of me through my drawings to those who love me.
